Camp Riverslanding was perfect for our Fall break get away. The camp ground is really clean and the staff is way above friendly and helpful. The bath house and laundry area is nicely kept and the gentleman that takes care of the place is the coolest. Bubba the office dog was one of our little boys favorite amenities! Our campsite was on the river and was really nice to be able to walk up and down the banks with my five year old boy. The playground and jump pad was perfect. The small game area at the pavilion was a nice surprise too. The back roads will get you in and out of Pigeon Forge in great time from the campsite. We will make Camp Riverslanding a must stay from now on.
Convenient to all of Pigeon Forge. Level sites. Clean and well kept. Great heated pool. Kids playground and dog park. Friendly staff. Only stayed one night but we will come back for a longer visit.
Really nice campground. Location is right in Pigeon Forge, kind of tucked along the river. It is an RV style park. So sites are pretty tightly spaced. I stayed in #039 and would definitely NOT rent that specific site again. #039 is the last site in the row, basically right up to a parking lot, with absolutely ZERO SHADE. Also, a recommendation to management, maybe move the "Dog Cleanup" pole over to the grassy area near your Dumpsters. Pool was clean. Bathroom facilities were really great. Bathrooms were more like residential bathrooms (all ceramic tile), with toilet, sink, and shower and a lockable door. Playground and bounce pad were in nice shape and many kids enjoyed them during my stay. Coin OP laundry and some arcade games in the Rec Room, but no change machine. (Have to go to front office for change) All maintenance staff that I encountered during my stay were really pleasant, and kept everything very clean. If you are camping here, bring some tubes for the river right along the campground. Pretty shallow and great for kids of all ages. I would definitely stay again, just not in that same site.
Love this place!!! Prices are great, service is great:) the grounds are nice and clean. They provide trash pickup daily @ 10am.
First time in the Smoke Mountains! We came all the way from FL and did a ton of research before we picked a camp ground. This was so perfect! Location was a big point for us. On the main road and just a short drive into Gatlinburg. Our spot backed up to the wooded area and felt private and quiet. I could see the kids playground from our spot so the kids could play and I could watch. The river was a great place for the children to play. The bathhouse was amazing, like individual spa rooms. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!! I spent HOURS watching YouTube videos, reading Google reviews, checking maps for distance to fun activities..... This is the place to be!
